On 28th September, eight rowers from St Andrew Boat Club will attempt to row 21 miles along the length of Loch Ness. The team is prepared to face high winds, waves, blisters, sores… And of course the wrath of Nessie herself!

The rowers are fundraising not only to boost our funds for new facilities and equipment, but also for the Scottish Association of Mental Health (SAMH) – a charity close to the hearts of many at SABC.

There is a small chance that unpredictable weather conditions mean it is not safe to complete the event on Loch Ness. If this happens, the rowers pledge that they will row the equivalent distance on a body of water as soon as is possible – and provide photographic evidence!

Anyone willing to support their efforts should check out the fundraising page: https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/Team/StAndrewBoatClub

Thank you for your support.
